Pre-Conference - The Active Learning Experience

Immerse yourself into FM Global's experiential learning
environment! During this interactive session you’ll learn about the
educational research supporting the design of the active learning
classroom, how FM Global implemented the new classroom design and
lessons learned during the design and facilitation within the classroom.
You'll also have the opportunity to experience learning activities that our
students go through, both in our active learning classroom and hands-on
learning labs. We'll also spend some time brainstorming how you can
bring active learning techniques back to your organization using the tools
you already have.
During this session, you’ll be able to:

• Understand the research supporting active learning classroom

   design

• Experience the active learning classroom and hands-on learning

   labs

•  Understand active learning design tips and lessons learned

•  Brainstorm how you can continue to evolve your own trainings with

    an active learning approach and using design tools you already
    have
